Hey, I'm Chris. I work in post-production, mostly visual effects and finishing. A lot of my day to day is compositing in Nuke and Flame, building shots, refining details, and making sure everything looks clean and dialed in before it hits a screen. Over the years I’ve moved across a few different areas of the pipeline including compositing, design work, photography, and experimental projects that sit somewhere between art and technical exploration.
Working close to the production pipeline naturally pulled me into project management as well. A big part of the job is keeping things organized, managing moving parts, and making sure creative ideas actually translate into finished work. The process behind the scenes matters just as much as the final frame.
Alongside the creative work I’ve been developing tools and systems that support the workflow itself. The goal is to connect the creative side, the technical side, and the production side into something that runs smoothly and can scale from one project to the next. A good workflow makes better work possible and keeps the whole process sustainable.
I’ve worked with studios, agencies, and independent creators, usually somewhere between the technical and creative sides of production. Sometimes that means dialing a shot down to the smallest detail. Other times it means stepping back and focusing on the bigger picture of how the whole project comes together.
Outside of work I’m usually around bikes, live music, or finding an excuse to get on the road with a camera. I like projects that combine strong visuals with thoughtful execution and a process that actually holds up from start to finish.
